I have. But I saw the leak as well, so I kind of knew what to expect and was prepared. What I thought was this: there were two ways you could go with this film - dark, gritty, and as close to the origins comic as possible, or summer blockbuster. They obviously chose the latter. While it too had far more characters it in than needed, and could've benefited from a longer running time (even though Fox is reluctant to allow them to make movies over 90 minutes) I thought it was worlds better than X3. It knew what it was, it didn't take itself too seriously, and it was FUN. And up until the part with the fucking magic bullet, it was a pretty solid film too. For some reasons the wheels seemed to come off the wagon a bit at the end, and it almost like they ran out of money in some of the CGI shots (ie Patrick Stewart looked awful. Both I and my inner fangirl thoroughly enjoyed both Wade Wilson and Remy, though they were by no means perfect, though I wish I could've seen more of them both. I thought the supporting cast, though crammed into the film pretty tight, did great as well. I liked Agent Zero and Wraith a LOT more than I anticipated. So yeah, overall it was a pretty positive movie going experience for me, which is just the way I wanted it. It's the perfect kickoff to a summer full of giant robots and explosions. You?

It seems we have very similar responses to it. I liked it for a movie, and, like you said, a summer blockbuster. That said, there was so much they could have done with it had they made it longer. There was too many characters and not enough to do with them, and that made me sad :(

you can also read my more annoyed response to it in my lj, but I agree it was a good kick off, now how long until Transformers?
